1. The service
DLP Nederlands provides independent language-learning tools and a public Social Studio for creators to upload their own video and send it to social platforms they connect. Learning materials are not an official curriculum, professional advice or a guarantee of passing an examination. As of this revision, the service is free and the website does not accept payments.
2. Accounts and restricted materials
- Public self-registration is available. You must provide a valid email address and accurate account information.
- Social Studio is for users aged 18 or older. A supervised minor's learning account may not use Social Studio.
- Users must keep their password confidential and report suspected compromise.
- Restricted videos and other restricted materials may not be published, forwarded, copied or disclosed to third parties without the right holder's permission.
- An account may be temporarily suspended following compromise, abuse or termination of access.
3. Acceptable use
You must not circumvent access controls, access another person's account, overload the service, introduce malicious code, or infringe third-party rights. Automated or systematic extraction, scraping, indexing, bulk copying, reconstruction or redistribution of DLP cards, translations, examples, audio, resource metadata or other catalogue content is prohibited, whether accessed anonymously or through an account. You may upload only video that you created or are authorised to use and publish. Illegal, deceptive, abusive, privacy-invasive, malicious or platform-prohibited content is not allowed.
4. Social Studio and external platforms
You remain responsible for every video, caption, setting and publication. DLP sends content only after your explicit confirmation. For Facebook, you must select a Page that you are authorised to manage. For Instagram, you must select a professional account linked to a Page you manage. For Telegram, you may connect only a channel or group that you administer and where the DLP bot has the required posting or membership rights. DLP publishes only to the destination named in the confirmation. You must also comply with the terms, music rules, advertising disclosures and content policies of each connected platform. A platform may reject, moderate, delay or remove content independently of DLP. Disconnecting a platform stops future DLP access but does not remove content already published on that platform.
5. Intellectual property
The code, design, original cards, audio and video are protected by applicable law and the licences of their respective right holders. Access to material does not transfer exclusive rights. Third-party materials remain subject to their own licences.
6. Availability and liability
The service is under development and may temporarily be unavailable or contain errors. Users should not treat the website as the sole backup of important information. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect loss or decisions made solely on the basis of learning materials. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. Changes and termination
Features and terms may change. A material change will be indicated by a new revision date. Users may stop using the service and request deletion of their account and data. The operator may discontinue the service and, where reasonably possible, notify active users.
8. Governing law and disputes
Dutch law applies. Mandatory rights available in the user's place of residence remain unaffected. Before going to court, the parties will try to resolve the issue through hello@dlpnederlands.com. If no resolution is reached, the dispute will be heard by a competent court under the applicable jurisdiction rules.
